Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of Say It Here, including its writing tools, AI-assisted features, accounts, subscriptions, and Pulse community. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"). These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. Where mandatory Apple terms control, those terms apply.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live.
• The app may create an anonymous Firebase account automatically. Linking Sign in with Apple or Google is optional unless a feature tells you otherwise.
• You are responsible for activity under your linked account and for maintaining the security of your Apple, Google, and device accounts.
• Do not impersonate another person or use a misleading identity.

2. What Say It Here is — and is not

Say It Here is a writing, reflection, and communication-practice tool. It does not send messages for you. AI and other generated suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your situation. Review every result and use your own judgment before acting on or sharing it.

Say It Here is not therapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, or an emergency service. It does not diagnose conditions or guarantee the outcome of a conversation. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can help.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is offered as an optional auto-renewable subscription with a one-week or one-year subscription period. The localized price is displayed in the app before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
• Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals, and Premium normally remains available until the end of the paid period.
• Deleting the app, deleting a Say It Here account, or deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Restore Purchases requires the Apple Account associated with the original purchase. Subscription access is verified through Apple and RevenueCat.
• Refunds, billing disputes, introductory offers, price changes, and payment methods are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms and policies.

4. Free service and advertising

Free access may include usage limits and banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads. Watching a rewarded ad may provide a limited in-app action or credit, not cash or transferable value. Available free and Premium features may change as the service develops. Material subscription changes remain subject to applicable law and App Store requirements.

5. Pulse community and user content

Pulse is a shared community feature, not a private journal. Posts and comments may be visible under Anonymous or an app-generated username. Do not post anything you expect to remain confidential.

You agree not to post or encourage:

• harassment, hate, bullying, threats, violence, or encouragement of self-harm;
• another person's name, contact details, account handle, location, private messages, or identifying information;
• sexual content involving minors or graphic sexual content;
• spam, scams, commercial solicitation, illegal content, or infringement of another person's rights;
• dangerous instructions, retaliation, or content intended to exploit vulnerable people.

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Say It Here a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, moderate, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve Pulse. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable technical backups, legal obligations, and content already copied or quoted by others.

We may review, reject, remove, restrict, or preserve content and may suspend accounts to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the service. Pulse may also contain prompts or synthetic content generated for the service. We do not endorse every community or generated post.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• break the law or violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights;
• probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its services, except where law expressly permits;
• use automated systems to scrape Pulse, create accounts, submit content, or abuse AI or advertising features;
• use generated content to deceive, harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or cause harm;
• interfere with moderation, purchase validation, account deletion, security, or rate limits.

7. Intellectual property

Say It Here, its software, interface, branding, mascot, graphics, and service-generated materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Availability, changes, and termination

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations of these Terms or risks to users or the service.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or a guaranteed result. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Say It Here and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or outcomes of messages, conversations, community interactions, AI results, or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. If a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
